The difference between painted and unpainted body

Most children's electric cars can be purchased in lacquered or unpainted finishes. In this article, we discuss the main advantages and disadvantages of the versions and the main difference between these possible body modifications.

Painted version

This body modification is essentially identical to the painted body of a conventional car. First, the body itself is made, then a color treatment is applied to it, and in the last step, the children's car goes through the paintwork exactly as in a normal adult car.

Benefits:

• high gloss especially in the sun and outdoors
• the color shade is nicer / more vivid
• real look with "adult car" color
• luxurious look

Disadvantages:

• high susceptibility to paint scratches
• in case of damage and scratches, the bottom layer of the color is different, which is different from the top cover color

Unpainted version

This body modification is the most common modification of children's electric cars. Right during the production of the body, the paint is mixed into the plastic mold, which is a full-blooded part of the entire body casting.

Benefits:

• high scratch resistance
• the base color is not visible with a deeper scratch, as the color is contained in the entire thickness of the plastic

Disadvantages:

• less shine especially in the sun
• a slightly paler shade of each color
